The 105-room Home2 Suites property held a grand opening this week and is taking reservations. It is owned by Hollister Hotel, LLC, and managed by Gateway Hospitality Group.

General manager Angela Zimmerman said: "There is a high demand for guest rooms in this area because of the location. We have restaurants within walking distance, the movie theatre, comedy club, boutique shops. So if a guest is staying 30-plus nights with us, they have plenty to do within walking distance."

Each suite is equipped with a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and kitchen set, and all furniture is modular. Amenities include a saline pool, fire pit and grill area, fitness centre, and bar.

Ground broke on the four-storey, 70,000-square foot structure in October, 2016, and its construction cost around $14 million.

"We are thrilled to be a part of the Levis entertainment district with this upscale-urban Home2 product," said Bob Voelker of Hollister Hotel. "People are already talking about how beautiful the structure complements the complex's architecture."
