Furnished Quarters targets Boston for next Q&A aparthotel

Furnished Quarters is looking for a suitable site in Boston to open its second Q&A property.

Steve Brown, CEO of Furnished Quarters, said: "We are pleased with the validation and success of Q&A Hotel, consistently ranking as one of the top 25 hotels in New York City according to Trip Advisor. We feel it's the right time to begin an active search for the perfect location in Boston."

At the building housing the company's Manhattan property, 70 Pine, a two-storey City Acres organic market and gourmet food hall has opened, its first in the borough, while VERTS Mediterranean Grill, a "fast-casual restaurant" is set to open this winter, and Australian coffee roaster Black Fox, which has been operating for over a year, has extended its hours and is now open six days a week.

La Palestra, the 20,000 square foot fitness and wellness centre in the building which opened a year ago, has recently completed the last areas of its club and is now offering new services including massage therapy and group fitness classes.

It’s been great, you have representation from the larger, more traditional operators as well as the new and emerging aparthotel operators. It’s fantastic to see them interacting with each other and it’s been great to be here.
